Omni New Haven was an existing hotel complex located within the Yale University Complex. Omni envisioned a hotel which would directly tie the Yale experience.

Having purchased the complex, the new owner sought to completely renovate the hotel, meeting rooms, and restaurants. In addition, the owner sought a masterplan to coordinate the entire complex to a more coherent building use matrix. Renovation was completed within this task. The design overview introduced an overlayment of traditional wood paneling with the introduction of crisp collegiate references.
